The Numark NS4FX labelled as a professional DJ controller, ships with DJ software aimed at beginners.Serato is a great software platform of course, but the NS4FX also works with VirtualDJ and Algoriddim’s djay Pro AI. One cool “hidden” feature is that both the mic/aux and the mic inputs, while not strictly routed through the software, are “sent” down the USB cable, which means whatever you’re using on those two inputs gets blended with the output signal. Unlike many other controllers, the NS4FX allows you to route the mic channels through the USB interface making it ideal for streaming sets where the microphone is used. It’s a versatile setup which gives you plenty of control and allows you to perform complex multi-deck mixes. There is also a dedicated microphone channel that feeds directly into Serato DJ Lite or Serato DJ Pro, making it perfect for live streaming.

The additional RCA booth output with dedicated control is perfect for sending audio to a personal monitor speaker or to an additional zone or area of a larger sound system. The NS4FX comes complete with a copy of Serato DJ Lite so you can enjoy four-channel mixing straight out of the box. Additionally, you can also use effects in mixes such as reverb and echo and this can be used with LPF or HPS too.The 16 Performance Pads offer limitless mixing possibilities with selectable pad modes including Cue, Auto Loop, Fader Cuts, and Sampler (additional pad modes can be unlocked with Serato DJ Pro).
